Gavin Sewell is writer, organizer, and contemporary artist known for his intricate mixed-media pieces and wall sculptures. A cofounder of the SATTAQ freelancers union, Gavin is deeply involved in labor and social justice issues. His artwork has been supported by the Canada Council and New York Foundation for the Arts and shown extensively in galleries and regional museums in North America and Europe. He divides his time between New York CIty and Montreal, Canada.
