CETA and Prince Edward Island

There is no question that international trade is vital to the PEI economy. But there are legitimate questions that need to be asked about who benefits from trade and about the role of public policies in ensuring that those benefits are shared as widely as possible. In a recent op-ed, Scott Sinclair, director of CCPA’s Trade and Investment Research Project, criticizes the secrecy surrounding the CETA, and questions whether the proposed deal will truly benefit the majority of Prince Edward Islanders.
